Hollywood Indians started out back in 1983, inspired mainly by The Clash and The Gun Club. In 1985 the band recorded an album, Punched Up! that never got released by their recoed company, CBS Records, Hollywood Indians were way ahead of there time.
The tapes disappaired soon after the recordings and suddenly a few years ago, the tapes where found in a basement in Gothenburg. Roberto Laghi got his hands on the tapes and did a great mix of the whole album.
2023 The Hollywood Indians are celebrating their 40th anniversary by releasing Punched Up! both on streaming medias and on vinyl.

Hollywood Indians was a Swedish Hardcore Country, Garage, Cowboy Punk Rock band without a clue.
They started out 1983 and had their sun set 1987. Since then they have reformed a couple of times, in the end of the 90's and at Åke's 50th birthday 2012.
Their herritage lives on and Hollywood Indians are still influencial to younger bands today. ... more
